Take a Load Off at Converge’s Title X Convenings  


Converge’s 3rd Annual Mississippi Convening will be held in Jackson, MS, from April 16-17. Our inaugural Tennessee Convening will take place in Franklin, TN, from May 7-8. Network, recharge, and gain insights from experts and peers on how to expand your network and improve care. A detailed agenda will be available soon.

 

Frequently Asked Questions: 

  • What is Converge’s COVID policy? 
    • Converge requires testing prior to traveling to the Convening. The test should be administered within 1 day of departure. While on-site testing is not required, Converge will offer no-cost, optional testing at the Convening.  
       
  • Will CE credits be available? 
    • Yes! Converge offers of trainings eligible for Continuing Educations credits focused on clinical quality and education, including:   
      • Mississippi Nurses Foundation (eligible in both MS and TN) 
      • National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC), Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) 
      • Available to submit to National Board for Public Health Examiners for Certified in Public Health (CPH) credits 
         
  • What are the key topics that will be covered during the Convening?  
    • Our sessions and trainings will cover topics related to Title X program updates and financial requirements, person-centered approaches to care, adolescent friendly care, FPAR data collection, and more. A detailed agenda will be available in early February. 
       
  • Who from my clinic should attend the Convening? 
    • Clinical partners may send up to 3 staff to attend Converge’s Convening. We invite individuals who play key roles in service delivery, finance, and operations. This includes clinic directors, clinical nurses, health educators, and clinic administrators. 
       
  • Are any of my travel expenses reimbursable? 
    • Yes! Converge will reimburse mileage/airfare for travel to and from the Convening. Lodging and meals during the event will also be provided, compliments of Converge. 
    • Converge will reimburse milage for folks who are traveling farther than a distance of 30 miles.  
    • Converge will reimburse airfare for folks whose distance is over 5 hours in driving time.  
    • A QR code will be provided at the event so that attendees can submit information for payment (please save airfare receipts). 
    • If you are a current Subrecipient, you may also use Subaward money to apply any additional expenses incurred.   
       
  • What is the dress code for the Convening? 
    • Attendees are encouraged to dress comfortably. There will be a welcome cocktail hour on April 16 for the Mississippi Convening and on May 7 for the Tennessee Convening. Temperatures inside our convening spaces can vary, so please dress in layers. 
       
  • What is Converge’s sick or late cancellation policy?  
    • If you feel ill during the Convening, please seek appropriate medical attention, including a COVID test, and inform Converge staff immediately. Last-minute cancellation requests should also be directed to Title X Program Directors.
