Converge Opens GetPersonal Clinic at Jackson Medical Mall

Jackson, MS — Converge is proud to announce the official opening of its first brick and mortar reproductive and sexual health clinic located inside the Jackson Medical Mall. The clinic, called GetPersonal by Converge, marks a key expansion of the organization’s reproductive access program to make care more accessible and affordable for all Mississippians.

GetPersonal by Converge offers free and low-cost reproductive and sexual health services in a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment. Services include vital signs checks, full physical exams, STI testing and treatment, contraceptive care and counseling, pregnancy testing, basic infertility counseling, and preconception counseling. Patients can also access free services, including a three-month supply of Opill  (the first over-the-counter birth control pill), menstrual hygiene products, prenatal vitamins, and assistance enrolling in Mississippi’s Medicaid Family Planning Waiver.

The clinic builds on the success of Converge’s GetPersonal telehealth program, Mississippi’s first and only publicly funded telehealth service, and answers growing demand for in-person care.

“While too many providers are being forced to close their doors, we’re grateful for the chance to open ours,” said Danielle Lampton, Co-founder and Co-Executive Director of Converge. “We asked Mississippians, and they told us what they need: care that is close to home, affordable, and free from judgment. GetPersonal by Converge was created with and for this community, and we are honored to open our doors inside the Jackson Medical Mall.”

Converge’s decision to open its first clinic at the Jackson Medical Mall comes at a time when several longstanding health providers have relocated. In response, Converge made the decision to invest in the heart of Jackson, bringing critical reproductive and sexual health services back to a central, accessible community space.

“Every Mississippian deserves access to reproductive and sexual health care, no matter their zip code or income,” said Jamie Bardwell, Co-Founder and Co-Executive Director of Converge. “This clinic represents hope, resilience, and respect. It’s a model for what patient-centered reproductive care should look like, not just in Mississippi, but across the South.”

The clinic proudly accepts Medicaid as well as Aetna. Walk-ins are welcome and services are offered for free or reduced cost based on income. Converge is the Title X (ten) family planning grantee for Mississippi and Tennessee.

Converge was founded by two Mississippi women with a bold vision: that everyone in the South, regardless of where they live, how much money they have, or their health status, deserves access to reproductive and sexual health care that truly meets their needs.

Converge supports a clinical network of care across Mississippi and Tennessee. We collaborate closely with health care providers, clinics, and community partners to ensure that high-quality reproductive and sexual health care is not only affordable, but sustainable and responsive to the lived experiences of women and men in the South.

At the heart of Converge’s work is GetPersonal — Mississippi’s first and only telehealth program that also provides in-person clinical care. Designed to ensure that everyone has access to high-quality sexual and reproductive health services, GetPersonal offers free to low-cost care, including STI testing and treatment, contraceptive care, basic infertility and more, regardless of income or insurance status. Converge was born in the South and built for it. We understand the complexities and the strengths of our region, and we’re committed to making sure everyone has access to the care that’s right for them. Learn more at www.convergeaccess.org.
