Converge celebrated the official grand opening and ribbon cutting of the GetPersonal Clinic in the Jackson Medical Mall on Thursday, February 12th.
Jamie Bardwell and Danielle Lampton, Co-Founders/Co-Executive Directors of Converge, dedicated the clinic to Dr. Helen Barnes, the first African American Board-certified OB/GYN to practice in Mississippi, who was in attendance.
The event brought together nearly 100 community partners and advocates who heard from Converge’s Co-Founders as well as Primus Wheeler, Executive of the Jackson Medical Mall Foundation, a member of Converge’s Patient Experience Council and a Community Connector. Tours of the clinic followed a welcome program.
