All 12 of Converge’s Community Connectors gathered in Jackson April 10-11 for an engaging and impactful training focused on strengthening community outreach efforts.
Community Connectors are hired by Converge as trusted voices to exhibit at local events across Mississippi and connect community members to information and care available across Converge’s clinical network and at GetPersonal.
During their in-person training, participants learned effective tabling techniques, strategies for meaningful community engagement, and best practices for connecting with individuals in authentic and approachable ways. The weekend also included team-building activities designed to foster collaboration, build confidence, and strengthen relationships across the group.
